Maintaining an active student lifestyle on a student budget led to the creation of a student union funded home brewing club.

And this is how we started. As the years progressed as did a fascination and passion for creating recipes, brewing beer and cooking.

Blue Bower Brewing represents a hobby and pursuit developed and evolved over many years, well before the hipsters were debating the latest hops driven ale in the bars across the cities of Australia.

The creativity, science, process, equipment, motivation and fortunately the results have evolved since the days of fermenting beer in the laundry sink of university shared homes!!
