All beer creation starts with an idea.
An Idea of a scene, an idea of an occasion, a memory or an idea of an event.
An equal mix of imagination and the 5 senses.
We dream the end product we smell it, taste it and picture it in out minds to create the dream that will influence all other stages of the brewing process.
A recipe is formed over weeks, months or even years. Swapping ingredients, selecting hops, yeasts, a grain bill and water chemistry. All these decisions enhance the original Idea. The creative process influences every recipe design decision. Every ingredient is selected and confirmed against the original Idea.
Once a recipe is created every step of the brewing process is subtly adjusted to enhance the recipe Idea.
An Idea via a recipe Design feeds a series of steps in a Process. These include pH management, temperature control, fermentation environment control and much more.
The brew day output is a maltose sugar liquid called wort which is once fermented becomes beer, a millennia old product that is changing still to this day.
