Whats in a name?

Blue Bower Brewing backs onto a small suburban reserve in the leafy suburbs on the Sydney's Lower North Shore. We were forever puzzled as to why when lawn mowing we would find blue clothes pegs scattered throughout the lawn. On setting off to explore the small reserve beyond the back fence all was revealed in existence of a bower bird nest circled by all our blue pegs.

The blue bower bird creates a beautiful home, it recycles its material, it draws you through the tunnel, it captures you in a circle of blue and the bower design is elegant and structural in its simplicity.....

When designing beer we embrace the elements of reuse, elegance, creativity and structural design our bower bird embodies.
