The brewery

After years of home brewing using whatever equipment i could find (literally) within my limited budget we designed and built a new electronic IoT recirculation brewery.

The brewery brings together a passion for technology, a desire to build and design my own equipment and the many years of reading and practice.

At bluebower brewing we have been creating beer using the BIAB method (brew in a bag). This method became popular around 2005 to 2006 as a few key people from www.aussiehombrew.com.au started testing and discussing a new simple way of brewing whereby the brewer needed less gear to get started. We were early adopters of this new method as we had much of the equipment due to our times in professional kitchens.

Over period of 10 years our brewing methods have evolved as our budgets increased, time availability became more tight and new products came to the market.

Whilst remaining true to the BIAB method Blue Bower Brewing designed a purpose built brewery in 2017.
